Swansea local Carolyn Harris started her journey into politics by studying Social Policy at Swansea University. She then went on to set up two centres for disaffected young people before becoming Regional Manager of a children’s cancer charity. Carolyn was first elected as the MP for Swansea East in 2015, and reelected in both 2017 and 2019 elections. In April 2018, she became the first Deputy Leader of Welsh Labour.
